The rig reduced a few people because of performance issues. During this round of layoffs nobody was let go. Also, the only contractors are a few drilling crew members (makes sense) the rest of the folks are full time. The rig schedule is packed to the end of the year with plans already in place for testing in 2022.

Yes the rig is still going for now in Cameron, Tx but not without a price to pay... there has been several lay offs since the first of the year and it is solely run by Halliburton contractors.
It’s in Cameron, TX. State of the art emission- free drilling rig that can even simulate waves offshore. They only drill shallow re-entry wells and plug afterwards. They were atill open two months ago.
Apparently it proved the Icruise works, hahahahahaha
It is outside of college station
Just a test training facility
Apparently you do
Who cares ?!
@Bubba
Do you know if there are any hydrocarbons there? Why would they have a drill?
It’s not in Oklahoma, somewhere in Texas.
Being discreet and just banging out tools I suppose.
Yep, not going to ding that. Whoever is running that place is avoiding the sh– show and moving on.
I’m not with Halliburton but visited in 19. They don’t play around. They performed a fire drill in the middle of drilling activities and knew they were not messing around.
I’m extremely upset to have been let go but truth be told, that place is legit. Whoever is managing the operations needs a break. Not sure if it’s still running though, anyone?
I think it is in Oklahoma or something. Probably gone by now.
I’ve been there back in 2018. Not sure if it’s still running but I wish I could have been a part of that.
Last I saw it was full steam ahead. It’s a proving ground for multiple PSL’s. Wise decision. Better to prove the technology there than in customer wells.
