Lots of what I’m reading says oil price is on the way back up...right after 200 employees lives were ruined by MRO with layoffs! What’s with the knee-jerk reactions?

Why would you ‘in door” the torture at Marathon when there are dozens of other oil companies to work for? We all know people who make less money that are really happy with their jobs and the happiness makes up for the lack of income. So options are available.
So you only work there for the money, are willing to be tortured and constantly complain about it, but have no incentive to look for another well paying job in oil and gas. Your response makes no sense. If you are that good, then you will find a job even during a pandemic.
Everyone in doors the “torture” because it pays extremely well compared to all the other non-oil and gas jobs in the region. That was actually a really dumb question.
You need to find a job that makes you happy. Working at Marathon is making you miserable. Why would you endure that torture?
Who cares about the employees, Lee took a 10% base pay cut and 1% to his overall compensation. That is sacrifice. Can he get on youtube and beg for another supercar to show his empathy?
