So, the steam people have nothing to do the rest of this year, but they are still there, full time, while all around the railroad jobs are being slashed?

Correct. The fact is these UP steam engines are a vital part of our history, and I for one am very happy their legacy will be carried on at towns across this great nation.
Sense a little jealousy here peeps! FYI: know the facts before you start typing. Steamshop lost guys just like everyone else. Everyone is being affected by all these cuts, so let’s quit trashing each other and come together. Keep your heads up!
The sad thing is the steam crew isn’t being cut and they’ll continue to get paid.
