Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Thoughts on recent reorg

Any thoughts on the reasons behind the recent reorg in PLM, CTO and CDO organizations? Just hoping that this will not back fire.

"But good to see MB get more responsibility"
You must work in Marketing, MB is not fit to run a shoe shop.

The previous XBT org was a contortionist act.
To me this reorg takes us back to the right path.

It’s a disaster. Makes us even less customer focused. What were these guys thinking? But good to see MB get more responsibility.

It's not a reorg as in layoffs, it's a leadership reorg in that they are changing some of the definitions of who manages what. It really isn't that big of a change. Security VP still runs security, WAN/Routing VP still runs routing, Campus and Branch VP still runs Campus and branch etc. I guess it's more of a move to bring engineering and PLM closer together? Honestly leadership was pretty vague on what that is supposed to mean in day to day terms.
