Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Kmart and Sears are both going concerns

The indignant attitude of some on here is shameful. The idea that someone can be optimistic and envision a turnaround is not preposterous, they are real businesses with real stores and real customers. Unbelievable that people are so sure of their pessimism that they think they're justified in belittling anyone who believes in the company.

Did you mean "going away" concerns?

Watching the cheerleader insist that Kmart is doing awesome as Eddie's net worth, reputation, and personal life spirals ever downward is the best.

I am not the least concerned about what is happening on other company chatboards on this site.

Do those other chatboards have a troll constantly stirring the pot like this one does?

What goes on over on those boards is no more my concern than what my next door neighbor ate for breakfast this morning.

The OP is a troll who posts these Cheerleading posts only to stir the pot.

The hostility toward the troll is because he/she has been trolling this board for years...posting scenarios that are completely contradictory to the actual condition of the company...a company that has closed over 95% of its stores in the past decade.

Many people on this board are former employees of K Mart and Sears and to have somebody constantly posting pom pom posts pretending that nothing is wrong with the company is a huge insult to all the people who know otherwise.

What you are witnessing......................is a direct reflection of the culture of the organization!

Good, bad, disgruntled, optimistic whatever. It starts at the top and trickled down to the affected that post here.
Not sure of this theory? gto another company's message or gossip board and see (read) the difference in attitude.

You be the judge.

To the Cheerleader....You have no authority nor credibility to lecture anyone on this board.
Your posts are meaningless, without merit and without any validity.

E mail your suggestions to Eddie Lampert and he will take one glance at them and then delete the emails.

Fax your suggestions to Eddie and he will tear them up and toss them in the garbage.

Try to visit his office and security will toss you off the property.

There is more to life than sitting in front of a computer day after day trolling chatsites.

@1dsd, I really hope that isn't true. I don't know much about Sears and the mall is a hard place right now, but Kmarts were open during the pandemic and sell a lot of essential things like toiletries, food, clothing, gardening supplies etc. I really hope that maybe a few customers who didn't normally go to Kmart, had to during the pandemic for convenience and will maybe become regular customers having found that they liked it.

None of these trolls thinks Kmart/Sears can come back. They know it just like the rest of us. But they post here to see your reactions and feed off them. The sooner he is ignored, the sooner he will move elsewhere to get his FIX.

You are getting mad at him/them for the wrong reasons.

The company (Transformco) is dead - we all have to accept that. Sadly - this pandemic gave ESL a convenient opportunity to finally close the company...only this time it will be under the COVID banner...and not his continued mismanagement Furlough all of the employees for many months....let attrition take care of as many employees as possible....and then declare BK. In this way - he has a lot less expense in the final close-down. Lets face it - the members who barely came to the stores before the pandemic are not coming back in droves. It will be the same all the way across the retail spectrum..... Amazon & Walmart will be the big winners.... The rest of us (Sears, Kmart and all of the struggling retailers alike) are doomed....

So....you obviously do not work for the wonderful Transformco.
Working for this company, then you know first hand they are doomed. If there are those who honestly think they can turn around.

To the OP.....You have absolutely no authority to tell the majority here on this site what is justified or not.....Take your jackass attitude with you out the door! Your opinions don't mean diddly squat here!
