Thread regarding Occidental Petroleum Corp. layoffs

We need a new management team!

I keep hearing we should stay positive. I cannot agree more. But one thing I have learned is that if a car is about to hit you, you cannot simply stay there and think positive hoping that it prevents the accident somehow!... We need a new management in place. Except a few execs the rest in 31st floor and GMs should go. Now the question is how? I have started thinking maybe we should show up in annual meeting and demand that. A few of us get fired! We can sue them or at least try! :/ One thing that the Streets doesn't like is a leadership team not respected by their employees. What do you think?

Stay positive!
Business as usual.
Stay focused.

I never listen to the Corporate Thought Police. The management doesn't get to decide how I feel. I will never "stay positive" just because someone told me to. If everything was fine, then they wouldn't have to tell me that.

I agree that is the only way. No rational investor can trust OXY with the current management!
