Solidarity, right? Since our union leadership is constantly doing good things for us lol......how bout all the unions distribute our dues to people that need them during corona? I mean, I know my union isn’t doing shoot for me during this time. So come on union, do something important with all the cash besides buying lake houses

Your unions are too weak. From your local chairmans to the top kowtowing to a tyranical railroad company who does not care about you. Your union leaders don't either. They just want their ability to layoff on weekends and holidays that they don't have the seniority to have off. Sad!
From what I understand being on objector requires submitting a form to your state government therefore at least a portion of your union for certain reason cannot be collected. Maybe if they won’t represent us, we could de-fund them while their income is most likely at all time lows due to shop closures and furloughs.
For those of us in the right to work states, we should all become objectors.
Ha... solidarity. Our IAM rep is too busy promoting and using undertime like it's actually gonna save anyone's job.
