Only hope is a government bailout
OP: are you this energetic and optimistic to move out of your mother's basement after all these years? She has to be tired of your rants
The OP has been posting stuff of this nature for a number of years here.....nothing of substance....posting only to stir the pot.
The OP is right, there is an opportunity in disguise here. Plenty of cash to fund the transformation company, aka transformco, with the government bailout money. If things turn out as bad as before, BK again and no harm done. If lucky, might find the same judge to try the third time.
Keep dreaming. Very likely the Ponce store will be next to close after the earthquake damage.
OP: How do you realistically expect this to happen during this COVID-19 pandemic?
The only thing that will be getting rebuilt will be the store buildings themselves when new retailers take over the real estate after Sears and K Mart shut down for good.
As others have said, how can you build new stores with negative cash flow exactly?
Too little too late.....This company is done for.
For more than a decade, Eddie has said he will not invest in the stores and we have all of the customers we will ever need.
There is only one thing keeping that from happening, Eddie Lambert!!!!!!
How does one go about rebuilding with no money?
