No More Packages

Severance packages are being eliminated due to the stimulus package benefits. Layoffs will continue through the end of June at current market conditions.

The $1200 stimulus is not even close to what severance pay would be. Not sure it's true.

This is not even remotely true. There is no stimulus package outside the $1200 payment that most of Halliburton employees wouldn’t even qualify for.

8 weeks severance is how they avoid 60 days notice from the WARN act, I don't think there is anyway around it unless they want to give 60 days notice...and have 60 most unproductive days of an employees life effect the business that is remaining.
