Witnessed the NB Chief today telling his buddies who's safe and who isn't safe in the layoff . I didn't know that he was privvy to that information, and I didn't know he was allowed to tell folks...

The "My 2nd Family" email that went out Friday was sent because CT told that person they are safe. Sender is playing some politics taking on the role of some kind of emotional martyr. Smart move, TB.
If you don’t think the CT has inside information On a PGL and BUM level then you clearly don’t work at NB.
There’s technicians that have been there 20+ years and know multiple tool lines and had to fight to get principle, CT made it in under 10.

The CT doesn’t know the names. The PGL’s don’t even have the names of who will be cut. Only ones that know are HR. No need to spread BS.
Opinion or not I would not be spreading that information being the sole CT on the floor. People are tense enough as it is and he is likely to get reprimanded even if the information is false. Imagine spreading rumors that person "A" is getting the boot, if person "A" hears about it then they are definitely going to be crushed and react to false information that may not require their stress. Snake in the grass for sure
