They want furloughs to go at least rest of year to prevent vacation qualification. More heads will roll pretty quick because qualification time is rapidly approaching. Taking unpaid days off helps them realize this goal. Uncle Pete has been playing this game a long time. He knows what he is doing.

I agree that the union leadership is paid by us and supposed to work for us. But from what I see, in reality, they are working to secure their own future.
All you cowards getting laid off should have organized a strike when you had the chance.
The union leadership works for you. You don’t work for them. If you don’t like what they’re doing throw them out. Don’t just sit and cry about it.

People called it the undertime list was completely bull$hit from the beginning. If the unions were smart and had the testicular fortitude they’d put out a press release outlining how underhanded they company was on this and the furloughs that’s are currently happening.
