The last couple of days have been brutal. Ruthless layoffs, close friends and colleagues up s—ts creek without a job or health insurance. It’s not over yet either... I know the union shops feel safe behind their contracts but your time is coming very soon. You’re not safe. Nobody is. Nothing can save us from Altice. They’ll cut and cut and cut until there is nothing left! No collective bargaining agreement, hard work or dedication can save you from this company’s sole desire to line their own pockets. If you made it through this weeks layoffs, count your lucky stars because it’s only a matter of time before your borrowed time runs out. Before all of our borrowed time run out. I made it through the layoffs, but I see the writing in the wall and I hope the rest of you can too. If not just for yourself, but for your families too. Good luck and Godspeed.

Most should have seen this coming when they swung the axe with management years ago. I warned many before I departed the company and it fell on many a deaf ear. I hope more realize now what is coming. It’s not if there are more layoffs it’s only a matter of when.
