You are correct in a lot of ways. I was let go a couple of days ago, and at the location I was at, it had the same issues. I’ve personally been working for 40 years, only 9 at Halliburton, and the first time I’ve had to draw unemployment. It’s not easy, and I’m bitter because I know there are undesirables remaining due to supervisors. People who do not represent my work skills, ethics, or dedication , but are there because of who they know. But I do have a friend, who is a damn fine worker, that transferred out to another location , several years ago, and he made it through the layoffs for now. I’ve worked with this man side by side as mechanics for frac., he’s a good, trustworthy worker. I’m happy he’s still with the company . So my point is, you are so correct about your post, however there are a few occasions where some deserved to be salvaged . Good luck in your future , there’s life after Halworld.
