BT plan is to reduce the workforce by 50% in a few years. No surprise, that’s what has happened to most industries with the introduction of automation and digitization
For now, best of luck and save those pennies for when the time cums
It's going to be way over 50%...trust me
US DOJ and Bill Barr need to completely investigate how the entire GE and BHI "deal" went down, including all top level players in the deal, Craighead above all. I've always believe something was "rotten in Picacho" as they say about this entire bidness deal.
The worst thing to happen to the GE team was the acquisition of BHI. Baker has always suffered from cash flow problems, poor decision making, and quick to hire then lay off their workforce. Baker will file for bankruptcy protection within the next 5 years.
Too bad Martin set BHI up to fail. Stop blaming GE folks. Golden parachutes, sugary sweet Lattes and a fast Porsche can make life so nice. Seee Yayyy!!
I posted the “fake news” comment, as that was hard to believe. I left BHGE after the no-integrity GE folks swooped in. Too bad GE didn’t take all of their crowd with them when they bailed out of Baker as majority share holder. It is a shame how the company treats their folks now in the handling of such information as mentioned here. Godspeed folks. Things are bad all over, but trust me when I say that there is life after Baker Hughes. Good luck all.
It is true. Remote operations and digital tools will lead the way now. People are a waste and Artificial intelligence will take over. Business Transformation group is designed for the future.
It’s true. I heard it also. BT is the place to be now.
No way this would ever be disclosed in a Townhall even if some level of truth. Fake news!
