Anyone layed off from the Enteprise fleet management sister company?

No, because "layed" is not a word.
I was a Coordinator and was laid off, permanently. I was told I will have to reapply if (IF) anything opens up. I received COVID-19 pay and a severance and given insurance for 30 days after my termination. I had asked management if I needed to worry about my job when the discussion about the backlog and "other" duties going to Corp started. I was told that I need not worry as only parts of my duties were going to Corp. That ALL changed on the conference call to lay me off.
Yes, approximately 25%-33% of their national service department were laid off. The company appears to have laid off employees with the most time with the company first. Almost all of the layoffs were people who had been there for 5 years or more.
If it makes you feel better those 250k jobs were over 50% commission, so while they keep their jobs their new income sure as hell won’t support their lifestyle. Why we keep RVP’s and Group Rental Managers is beyond me when others were laid off. Have watched more than a handful get demoted out of necessity during the last 30 days and I’m sure more changes and layoffs are coming.Our glory days are long gone, if COVID goes into the fall we will have to file bankruptcy. Good luck out there, going to be a bumpy ride.
Yes, Fleet seems to be keeping Sales positions, but laying off support staff.
Yep as of the 28th 5 years of hard work to get there down the drain. No benefits or car. S—s yet most in upper management still have their $250k a year plus jobs.
