Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

16,000 would be based off 160,000 world wide if it’s 10% cuts. 15% still isn’t that deep. It’ll affect a lot of good people none the less. But it’s not a “Boeing is done” scenario.

Would would be great is if they started at the top and flushed the worthless t–ds that float around up there add zero value to the company and just s— up paychecks. Then cipher through all these “managers” that are just as worthless and think their sh– don’t stink. Then move on to inspiring the “common folk” to vote out our goddamn union that couldn’t even represent a stick of gum let all a workforce.

But I digress...

Nothing is a certain till you are being escorted out. We’ve honestly seen people get extended our retained or their warns called off on their last day.

In all honesty and my humble opinion, anyone with less than 2 yrs...to 4 years in some job codes could be affected. But it doesn’t mean anything till they escort you out. It’s a mental thing and it really s—s. A lot of people can either play on your emotions or tell you it’ll be ok but it’s how you handle it honestly. Day to day. Don’t just give up because you think your gone.

Not to sound cliche but it’s a business.....they don’t operate off anything but profit and sustainability.

There’s a lot of ding dongs that’ll make fun of you or the fact that your newer than them. Doesn’t mean anything....

I said it in another post but we’ve all been there...or most have. We’ve all been the newbie.

Just take it a day at a time and try to remain a little optimistic. It’s strictly seniority based for the most part...
