Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

SM and jobs

SM.
Time for some self sacrifice buddy.
Sabre could have over 80 DFW jobs or close to 240 jobs in India if SM would just quit.

So just do it buddy. Be a team player and finally make a positive impact. You quitting would save hundreds of jobs

At least Sabre got something we can blame our lack of sales on for 2020. Our sales team was selling left and right and then the virus hit.....

I sure bet we were on target to beat the dismal sales figures of 2019 too.....

Nor would I. He had nothing to do with COVID. but he has everything to do with showing good admirable leadership. Which he most certainly has not done.

Lol at the negs on the Putin comment from those that would rather have SM, Pelosi, or Mcconnell running the show. Can't say I'm surprised though.

For the rest of you taking your futures into your own hands the best of luck to you! A lot of Sabre folk are hard working, sharp individuals and those will come out of this okay. Maybe even a lot better than they were a few months ago.

I really don't get the SM Putin nonsense. As far as I can tell Putin has done a great job putting the people he leads first, at least relative to his peers, and substantially improved the position of his country. If you want to involve a political figure why don't you go with SM Pelosi or SM Mcconnell to more accurately describe little guys getting screwed.

I would not hold SM accountable for the CORVID 19 situation.

Maybe he shrewdly negotiated put options instead of the usual call options?

Suggesting Sean Menke Putin is the worst CEO in Sabre’s history, therefore he should quit is absurd. It is all YOUR fault, not his! During his tenure he laid off 1500 employees and furloughed 4000. He lost to the competition at every opportunity. He inherited the stock at 30$ and took it down to $6. You think he will quit, think again... When/if he goes down he will take you down with him.

The reality is that should the situation look grim to management, their superordinate goal will be to take out cash in the form of retention bonuses.
