Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Quarantine pay

Would love to see tenure and location for the ADP workers who say they are quarantined and unable to work. Most ADPers are at home anyway so if the person isn’t sick shouldn’t the expectation be they should work? Even after 5 days out, they need not apply for LOA. It’s definitely a strange situation with this pandemic and generous of ADP to pay people... hope they are being smart about it and asking for medical proof.

Only management cares in creating bickering and backbiting among employees to try to make them fell guilty and sorry for ADP and work harder for the glory of the company.

My take is to chill out and do what is best for yourself. It is between you and management, not looking at other employees and deciding how they should work. That is for management to decide. We all have our work schedules and have to do our work. If other employees don't do their jobs that's management's problem.

You all need to worry about yourself and not anyone else. Focus on you and yours. Not other peoples b—s—. You'll find yourself less miserable. Busybodies.

Just because YOU would take advantage of a situation, don't believe that everyone would! Some people have an ethical responsible attitude to do the work thay are paid for and go above and beyond that 40 hour mark. The people I know are working long days and weekends, up to 70 hours week. This really pisses me off. It is disrespectful and counter productive. So get over yourself.

Although there is plenty to bash ADP about, not everyone comes on this site to b**ch and bash...some just try to get information regarding the layoff trends and be aware of what’s actually going on. That being said, as for working “tirelessly”- I’m doing the job that is asked of me- and yes I’m more productive and busier- not for the love of ADP, but to keep my job and paycheck. it’s called personal responsibility to show up.
Go Netflix and chill- it will eventually come back to bit you on the a$$ your sitting on!

Agree, class of ‘82, you’re clowning at home. Just admit it, you’d get much more respect. You’re pampered. If you still work at ADP you have it made quit complaining, please. Comical.

So, we’re to believe that you come on this site and bash ADP but then claim you’re working tirelessly to get the job done. Pulease, you’re k–ling me smalls.

For many I’m sure this is like a vacation, however I know that my team and I have been busier and more productive while working from home. Still have mandatory deadlines to meet. Those of you thinking they can slack off just wreck it for the ones actually working.

The only people who should get paid to be quarantined are those handful of people who can only work in an ADP facility. If you know of anyone working from home doing this you should hold it against them. They are taking advantage of they're Co workers not ADP. If someone is actually sick from Covid-19 and too sick to work then yes they should be all means take the 14 day Corona pay.

If you aren't ADP management, I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy your staycation as best you can.

The pandemic has been a great stay home vacation for a lot of workers to essentially sit on the couch, play with the dog and kids, and still collect a salary.
