Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

DMC

Whose all excited to wait on your conference call Thursday to see if you have a job or not. That's a nice email to wake up to on a Sunday morning. Have some damn respect for the employees and tell us face to face what yall are going to do. An email really? Management has a funny way showing us how much they really carw.

I just hope my Pgl makes the choice not the dayshift pgl that dosnt know how hard we all work on nights. We sacrifice time with family. Hard work for many years and I know I work hard.

I hope my pgl and the B.u.m. get there walking papers today. I dont feel sorry for anyone that hand picks who s— more asse gets to stay. I hope all of those jerks in the pimp house get walked out with me. This town needs to get some better companies in here or this town will be the size of Waurika in a few years.

I prefer this as to the walk of shame. I also appreciate the honesty and integrity I have been given during my time at DMC. I appreciate my PGL my BUM and Mr. Gray. I hope I make it, but if not thanks for providing me and my family over the last several years. GOD bless you and all the hard working folks here at DMC.

Nobody truly wants to be laid off, unfortunately it does happen . Jeff Miller didn’t invent the pandemic , or ask two id–ts to open the valve wide open. Not defending the man , just showing the actual cause of our current layoffs. Ive been with the company not quite 10 years, met some very good people, met some that were far less than par. However, one thing to remember is that being laid off isn’t being fired. I understand the pain and disappointment , but you can also take it like an adult. Some people who respond here on this site, need to understand that life’s not easy, not simple, but you take your downturns like an adult , and move forward . Good luck to everyone, and God bless y’all

Maybe you all can get together and open a tiger zoo like Joe Exotic....and blame Halliburton for the next ten years.

Critical thinking exersize. If 10 folks are on the conference call with HR and your PGL, 5 won't get laid off and the other 5 have a job. If you have a time to join the conference call it's your a–. Welcome to the unemployed. If you have a job your PGL will call ya. I'm really going to miss my job.

Duncan Manufacturing Employees

From: Mike Gray - Director of Manufacturing Operations

DMC Team, The demand for products and equipment that Duncan Manufacturing provides has dropped to historic lows. Current market information indicates severe reduction in drilling activity in North America for the remainder of the year. Based on these circumstances we have made the difficult decision to reduce our workforce to remain competitive.

The Covid-19 pandemic has presented unique challenges during this time. To minimize risks to all involved we will be utilizing conference calls for the reduction/all clear notifications. We will continue to monitor our demand closely and adjust as required.

All day and night shift employees will be paid for Thursday, April 30" but should remain at home and be available for scheduled conference calls on that date. If you are currently working from home, please continue your normal duties. On Wednesday, April 29th your direct PGL/Supervisor will provide the time and phone number/meeting ID # for your specific call.

Weekend shift employees will be paid for Friday, May 1 but should remain at home and be available for scheduled conference calls on that date. Your direct PGL/Supervisor will provide the time and phone number/meeting ID # for your specific call.

To facilitate the speed in providing benefit information and next steps, accurate contact information is very important. Please make sure your current contact information is available in our system or to your PGL/Supervisor. Critical contact information include personal phone number, email address and mailing address.

We got the email at 7:10 this morning. It is real. You will call a phone number with an ID number and they will have a group of about 10 people at a time. PGL handed us the sheet this morning.
