does the high-middleish exec mentioned for reassignment happen to be on the domestic Finance side? if so, I know exactly who you are taking about. A trail of bodies is how my wife describes it

Monday reorg. One awful high-middleish exec moved aside, not fired. Suspect they are being kind, allowing her time to leave on her own terms or retire, but if she doesn't, she'll probably get the boot. She's done a lot of damage, morale-wise, to the entire chain below her over many years, but has somehow survived. Far beyond her expiration date. Out with the old, and hope the new is better, not worse.
