I would like to know what corporate positions were laid off! Please share!
If you have the list, can you share what positions were terminated? Were they VP's that are in made up positions or in newly created "committees"? We are always top heavy yet we start at the bottom to stop the bleeding. Why not start at the TOP? Can someone school me on that way of business please because I don't understand?!
Don't have a # on furloughs, but late afternoon call on Friday said they were to get 50% of their salary. REALLY???? Get ready to feed your family rice and beans for the next year.
One of the greatest insults was that medical benefits were terminated as of last day of employment (last Friday). And no COBRA assistance unless you were at the company for 5 years. Soooo....for those with medical conditions who had a doctor's appointments.....you're screwed.
Almost 200 terminated not counting furloughed employees. Anyone have a number on furloughs?
It was over 10 percent of the corporate headquarters. I am not sure why they did not consider reducing the salary for everyone, and reducing work. They have lost a lot of their business, and they are trying to reduce liabilities. Short sighted business leadership.
Yesterday was a m—acre at corporate. A lot of good people laid off. It's disgusting what upper Management did.
