TE&Y and MofW beware. It has come down from the top that employees who were once qualified dispatchers will be returning to back fill the vacant dispatching centers while these employees are on RULA. They have dug up a roster of employees who were dispatchers from over 20 years ago and are sending them through a 6 hour course to refresh them. So next time you call for that authority, TWB, T&T, don’t be surprised if you are meet with confusion. Double check yourself, did you see all trains listed on that box 2 or box 6. The dispatchers won’t be able to save you while they are saving the company money by sitting at home. Good luck and be safe!

Just keep those dispatchers away from the
Santa Barbara sub. They will cause a over lap in the TWC ABS territory with Amtrak trains.....
Agreement or non agreement , we are all numbered. The only thing we can look forward "safely" to now is hotdogs being served and watch "BIG BOY chug along .
Dispatchers are all non agreement. They don’t belong to any Union.
Train dispatchers are non agreement, CMS dispatchers are agreement. Would be a shame if all the train dispatchers came down with flu like symptoms and had to be quarantined for 2 weeks. UP takes 25% of their pay and they lay down and shut the railroad down and cost UP 25% of their nut for the 2nd quarter
If they get short handed there are always plenty of hobos around the yards to fill management positions.
Dispatchers at UPRR are all non-agreement. They have to do the RULA as well.
Dispatchers are agreement employees. It is non-agreement employees that are taking a week of RULA each month. Stop stirring the pot.
