Liberty Coke's entire sales Team received a late call late Tuesday afternoon. Sales were given a choice of taking a voluntary furlough or they were going to choose who and how many would be payed off..... I'm guessing 50% of an already depleted sales team was eliminated.
Those who stayed would no longer be able to work remote and would have to return to face to face sales. Stores struggling with slow sales and Covid 19 are periodically closing.
Plus the company did Mismanaged confusing a shift and lift replan 2 weeks ago .
Acciunt managers armed with mask , a box of gloves and a thermometer is no match for visiting 23-30 stores in a highly infected area. As a matter of fact more customers can be contacted by phone with sales working safely from home.
