Baker Aberdeen to pay off 40%.
It's been leaked this morning by HR that due to the new oil price and huge reductions of north sea work that Baker will now be cutting at least 40% of its Aberdeen work force.

Can all be done in China or Poland for a third of the wages, get real, you are nothing!
you can outsource the manufacturing and get rid of all the machinists, but you still need boilersuits to assemble the strikers and the premium packers. If you think Bakers can make money with only office staff you are deluding yourself.
the boiler suits make the money for the company. no boiler suits, then no wages for you to sit in the garden. cos you certainly cannot produce it. out source the lot see how you get on. .

Confirmed today after speaking to the manager that Decom have lost its biggest 2 contracts this year due to far to many mistakes by engineers both on and offshore .
