So, I make about $ 35 an hour, or $ 1400 a week. I'd qualify for $ 504 a week in NY for UI, GE pays IEA (UI top up..70% of $ 1400 - UI..I think?). So I'd get another $ 476 there and then the $ 600 COVID-19 kicker, so a total of $ 1580 a week, sweet!. If we all stick together and don't take the VRIP, and force some layoffs or furloughs, it could a great thing.

@lru+14B5g0gg, the NY UI certification statement reflect only the $ 504 a week, even though I've confirmed the (it's shows as "0", even though the $ 600 will come too. The subject statement is what's required to be turned into HR for the IEA calculation. So I stand by my original post, see an example below. SWEET.

Winner, winner! Chicken dinner!
There are no furloughs or layoffs coming. We have been in this for a solid month now at Schenectady. All we need to do is hold steady until it's over and then go back to normal. If they could have gotten rid of any of use because of what's going on, they would have by now. You're not going to get paid to sit at home so all of you can stop dreaming!
I don't think you will see VRIP's
Furlough's are coming soon !
An honest manager might tell you the truth !
The OP must be a T-Rate for that kind of cheddar. I wouldn't brag about that kind of pay. That's peasant pay! D-Rates are the KINGS!!!
IEA is calculated based on what you receive from unemployment that will include the extra 600 so no matter what you will still only receive 70% of your gross pay
That’s enough for me to sit home
$35 an hour??? That’s chump change. I wouldn’t even get out of bed for that kind of pay!
But, for how long?
