Anyone filing for COC over this one paired with the PTO cut?

Employees are using an employment law firm downtown in the JP Morgan Chase building on Main St.
Legacy APC got only 4.9% they can’t ask for COC

IANAL. Looking at the CoC document. Under good reason for salary reduction it states:
A material reduction in your Base Salary as compared to your Base Salary immediately
prior to the Change of Control;
The term material reduction does not appear to be defined in the CoC plan I have a copy of. Some "legal definitions" online can be found here: https://www.lawinsider.com/dictionary/material-reduction
Looks like they may just be examples, but I'm curious about the 5% number on one example. 4.9% is right under 5%.
What law would they need to specialize in?
Oxy could easily remove the option to apply for a good reason inquiry without requiring you to first resign. Honestly not sure why they wouldn't.
Yep ! Who isn't is a better question ... And no, you don't resign. That was a scare tactic our wonderful 'leaders' employed early on. Just a distasteful attempt at RAW-style bullying and intimidation.
I'm sure most will disagree but the PTO cut really seems immaterial (alone, of course). It's not like we were all that incentivized to actually take our PTO over the past few years. I got the impression that LOXY were basically told not to take it all.
I’ll be consulting a lawyer. A specialized lawyer (Not a lawyer that my friend knows or a lawyer from The Woodlands that plays golf with these folks). I’m upset for everyone, and the match that finally lit it off was the fact of them taunting me like some bully would about oh by the way we can do this and it won’t trigger COC. Some people lay down and take it, but there’s still a few us out there that don’t play.
I thought you had to resign to do this. Is that do? What about retaliation if you don’t get it?
