Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

What is our plan?

This is a critical time for Halliburton and it seems that our leadership is really not equipped to lead us through it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but was there one thing they did so far that was not just an immediate reaction to what's been going on? No thinking ahead, no preparing, nothing. I'm truly scared for the future of this company.

Great news for those unaware. The Mergers and Aquistion Dept is working double time to do the opposite of usual roles - Reduce , Reduce , Reduce.

Plan like the boss man. Put on an afghan, jump in the sedan, and head to the capital of Japan. You'll at least increase your lifespan and it would be better than going to Uzbekistan or the republic of Sudan....in all seriousness, good luck man- sometimes it's a rough life being an oil man.

Oil and Gas Good Ole Boy system. All of these knuckleheads have the same mentality. There is no forward thinking just Good Ole Boy s—ing the system dry while little workers continue to pay for the Good Ole Boys with job losses. Get out while you can.

Do what I did. Quit. I moved on to a new job outside the industry. No more worries
