You heard it here first. Oxy notified employees of major pay cuts throughout the organization, including an 81% reduction for the CEO. You think our CEO can swallow his pride and do the same? Hmmm. After thinking about it, there’s no way! SWN will see cuts for the worker bees and raises/bonuses for the executives.

whether or you get virtually laid off, my suggestion is that you get prepared to change your employment and your profession as the upstream oil and gas is dead in the water as long as the Saudi's and Russia continue with their respective price wars,,,Always remember that the Saudis control this commodity as they have a 200 year recoverable reserve and a F&D below $20/barrel
Umm. Duh, Don’t worry about it. You are safe. No layoffs for you this round. We are guessing virtual layoffs and use the UPS labels to return SWN property. Is this the real thing or what??? Asking for at least several dozen friends of mine who got the “label”!

The Covid-19 crisis provides a perfect opportunity for the leadership to show how its values are guiding decisions, but they have never actually explained what the values are. This oversight is profound but any good leader would have dealt with it years ago, but not Nill Pay. He prefers to make up the values for each situation so he's never held accountable. Lesson here is if you don't define what you stand for and believe in, others will fill in the blanks. HR and Nill should actually do this but don't give Nill the pen as he'll never figure it out. For an obnoxious a– who claims to be a great leader and know it in others, he is shockingly short on basic leadership skills.

Are we deemed a critical business in order to keep America running during this pandemic? I Would think there is also an overall competency part that we would have a hard time passing as a company. I mean our leadership is more interested in competing to win in the restroom than on the balance sheet. Not what our country needs right now.

Heard the industry is using virtual layoffs? A friend of a friend working for a major service company was given a virtual pink slip. Will this happen to us?
So nice to not be at the office. Just accidentally did a Zoom meeting and my coworkers seen me in my underwear! Now I can easily peruse the layoff.com site and post these comments without fear of "big brother" seeing my activity. I know it's a company iPhone, but it's my wifi network. So I'm safe and secure. I plan on bashing the heck out of my fellow executives in a new thread soon and may even have some more insight on washroom habits. Stay tuned!

SWN executives aren't really the types that would cut their own pay.
I am so nervous for our industry and company. I hope our Execs will sacrifice their paycheck and bonuses for us folks who turn the wrench and make money for this company. I have small kids, beautiful wife, child support and alimony so I will work my tail off for my supervisor. He is the reason I am still here today.
