This is Outrageous and represents the worst of "corporate" greed. Quinnipiac, like most universities, is now run like a corporation where more money for those at the top is the biggest concern. Who cares about the highly trained but lowly paid faculty? Why didn't the administrators with their grossly inflated salaries do the right thing and take the hit? They should be ashamed of themselves! To add insult to injury, these cuts were announced as faculty are all working around the clock with 10X their normal workload to move all of their classes online, something they are not trained to do and with no support. It is even worse for the adjuncts, who are already notoriously underpaid, most working at multiple schools to make ends meet. They are now working themselves to exhaustion to learn all the new technology and serve their students the best they can, all the while knowing that they will be the first sacrificed come Fall.
