His shares lost value?! Cry me a river! $8 million would have paid 80 salaries. Now he only gets 8. The execs have been wanting to get rid of the US staff for years. Now they will. Congratulations. Let's see how that works out.
Total compensation made up of shares? My guess is that the value of that compensation just took a nose dive. I think he is doing a pretty good job in the current environment and appears to be trying to preserve our jobs
Arrogance has no financial boundaries

Where have you been for the last 3-4 years ?
Uppers always take care of themselves first.
Before this crisis happened and after this crisis. It's never about people at the low end.
If you live anywhere besides a low cost center, you already know that.
I know people who volunteered to give up 35 percent of their salary if it meant their peers wouldnt get cut (and no those people couldnt afford to give that much up, but they offered anyway).
You cant mandate Servant leadership (and im not just talking about SM). I'm talking about anyone in a leadership role. You can recognize it when you have it and be thankful for it when it graces you though. It's rare to see it. So be grateful if you do cause it's a "darn" hard thing to do well
Not a union man, but that collective ability to stop injustices are why they exist. I was flabbergasted when I saw the regulatory findings, and then read a Reuters article about how airlines want cash grants. These particular US based airlines agreed to executive pay cuts if they could receive partial bailout in those grants. I know Boeing hasn't had any positives for a couple of years, but their CEO has given up pay for the remainder of 2020. That's a little more like the LEADERSHIP measures that should be taken. All we're doing is bailing out the lowest scum. Sounds a lot like what happened in the blue collar sectors years before all their jobs went to automation and overseas. Time to get out of this antiquated industry. Guaranteed that the draw of cheap, and flexible technologist overseas is going to be much stronger after this crash.
25% cut of salary(i.e $966,000) is a Joke. Plz enlightenment me if am wrong.
2019 got $8.8
2018 got $10.7 M (was Sabre doing that awesome, tons of new airlines, cut-overs ?! )
2017 got $6.9 M (was Sabre growing by leaps & bounces, surprising many were laid off! )
2016 got $5.4
~$ 31M
Plz don't lecture abt capitalism. We are all capitalist here, its a spectrum. All airlines would be begging for bailout soon and they might need to nationalize B0eing. I guess that is also capitalism.
