Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Forced to Go Home?!?

Lets get real, nobody is being 'forced" to go home. Everybody is already complaining about coming in and can't understand why they have to be here in the first place.

Once announcements of layoffs start happening, watch how quickly their tune changes.

All you'll hear is crying about how important they are, they have to be here, and that GE won't last without them. You're either essential or you're not. It doesn't switch to accommodate you.

What's laughable is how eager people are willing to prove that GE can do without them for just 3 weeks of pay. Hope they can stretch a dollar really far!!

Many new hires are just using GE for OJT experience @ GE's expense, no probs for them to move on to greener pastures.
Also to pass on some words of wisdom to any 20+ year EE's...

Layoffs are coming. Hold on to your wigs. I told everyone a couple of months ago to beware the Ides of March. It has come to fruition.
