I guess service techs can risk there health walking into 5 or more house a day for non emergency calls . At same time using public bathrooms while the other departments can stay home away from being in contact with multiple possibilities of covid19 . Emergency calls means down lines service out not installs and service changes .

Company issued gloves AND masks?....
Lol we barely got gloves today, and a travel sized bottle of sanitizer. As per usual i supply my own ppe to make my job safer and easier.A real company needs to buy this place and start treating people like people. Not numbers and dollar signs
No argument that Altice services are needed during this time, but Altice should be taking a steps back and having us only service vital calls like all services out, internet installs etc. not add sets, speed upgrades and bull sh– calls. There taking this time to grow their business instead. Their action are just as bad as the person who buys up all the hand sanitizers, wipes and up charges. No denying that Altice as ramped up the work load!!! And is primarily focused on revenue over safety.

Next time your walking into a customer’s home to do an install with your new company issued gloves and mask on; I want you to think about Patrick Drahi on his private jet as he contemplates what company he’s going buy and ruin next. Or Dexter Goei and the five-story multifamily building in Greenwich Village He purchased and plans to turn into a mega mansion.
Stick together boys help each other out. Trust the plan.

I was being fascetious my friend. Were 85% arial here, almost all our drops are 2 poles or more.So yeah no apartment/mdu easy days here.
Stay home if you live in NY. They will pay you.
Have you seen the stock price? Service charges are essential. Not many customers left. Need to overcharge the ones that are still with us.
Everyone has the right to how they feel. Workers should be concern about their health and their families.. techs can bring the virus into subs home. This goes both ways... everyone needs to be cautious!
Yea they want us to dispatch from home . So we don't infect the office personnel .
Bke what a proud apartment tech that never gaffs a pole
Cable hero that does one box modem router installs 7 times in mdu apartmens lol
That was an example. Very proud you work soon much , the point was that why should we be subject to entering homes that's not an emergency and you know damn well by asking if you or family members are sick during precall they will lie . So whether it's 5 10 or 190 calls we should not be the ones to find out who is sick
5 or more?...lol you must not work here.Even in the slowest markets its 8 plus per day EVERY day.Wash youre hands, dont touch other people.Dont go into house when people appear sick. And for Gods sake, get youre production up.Youll never last around here....:p
