Two Bronx reps at Soundview tested positive for Coronavirus. HR knew about it for a few days and kept it quiet. Once we found out, there was a mass walkout. Many were in tears, many were very angy that I almost thought it was going to get violent. Altice has sunk to a new low.

Keep reporting them! The more complaints the better. Bring these b–tards to their knees.
I reported them to the cdc and I know at least 2 others from Jericho did as well.
Contact a lawyer they will know what agency to contact same thing is going on in Suffolk
Did anyone from The Bronx site or anywhere else report the situation to 311? They are advocating for employees who are being mistreated or abused during this crisis. The tri-state area, the country, the world, are all uniting to stop this virus. If Altice refuses to do the socially conscious thing, pick up the phone and do it for them.
Oh news 12 ? Yeah I’m sure they’ll be objective when reporting on this story. What I don’t understand is how nobody is aware of the amount of leverage we hold over management right now. We are the ones on the front lines here not them. If there were even a modicum of unity between us we could bring this company to its knees right now. Think about it ? What options would they have if we all just stopped working ? I’m sure it would take some time for them to rally up the scab crew of contractors that would be needed to keep the system up and running. In the meantime day to operations would come to a grinding halt. How long before the system falls into disrepair? How long before the government would have to step in an intervene. We may not technically be a utility but we are a major communications company.
Ignore the word candidates, typo.
News 12 Bronx are in that building. You know as well as I do that they're going to look the other candidates way.
They don’t have anyone left to fix plant problems. This will surely sink this ship !!
GUARANTEED.!!!
Someone from that office should bring this to the media’s attention. Seeing news stories left and right of other companies doing right by their employees and shutting down operations at the first sign of contamination. As a major company they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this. There needs to be some repercussions here.
I smell a class action lawsuit. They actually have the gall to ask for extra help and additional standby coverage yet they’re offering zero incentive. Unless you really need the money why would anyone do anything more than the bare minimum for this company since that’s basically all we get from them as employees? Everyone is so quick to state how much they, “Hate this place!” yet when it comes time to take action they can’t bend over and grab their ankles fast enough. Unfortunately once again I will be the only one in my department not volunteering to help out and I’m sure it won’t go unnoticed. To the upper management scum that lurk these forums, here’s a little piece of advice, “You get what you give”
