This is when company's show their true colors almost all retailers are either closed or have adjusted their hours in response to the pandemic.
NOT SEARS in California!
We haven't done one thing different in the store, no supplies for associates, no extra cleaning efforts for our customers, NOTHING.
If you are reading this and are a customer be warned, Sears is like a petri dish.

They never cared! Why would they start now? Its a matter of when not if for the shut down of all full line stores.
I used to work at Sears selling appliances and mattresses ... now I work for lowes selling appliances. There lots of Sears bashing on this site but believe me Lowes is not taking one step to clean their stores. There is so much more potential for contamination in a lowes or Home Depot store. It’s literally disgustingly dirty in my lowes store. NO ONE IS CLEANING AT ALL!!!! there’s way more metal in that store also. Virus lives on metal 4 or 5 days. I only wish I had my wonderful Sears job back!!! Made more money , it was clean people that I worked with were way nicer and I didn’t have physically work as hard. And yeah I use to complain about sears and some of the nonsense they implemented. Lowes is worse.....way worse. Don’t kid yourselves..
why would anyone still work there?
It's alright, there's never a gathering of more than ten customers in a store these days anyway.
