I was affected by this layoff with no notice and will be reaching out to seek legal advice as I believe the WARN law has been violated. Cowards.

WARN law definitely was violated no doubt about it. If this was me I would seek legal advice. You guys have a claim. I can recommend some attorneys in NYC metro area.
correct, so why not give home based employees more notice- their health was not at risk- not a good defense by Ovation.
WARN has nothing to do with home based agents. I have been through WARN before in the 90s and was successful in gaining 60 days pay as company didn't give a notice. How does this put lives in jeopardy? Stop it.
Doesn’t hold up for majority of home-based workforce.
You're right about the WARN law, but like thousands of other businesses will also do in these unprecedented times, they will state "Our first priority was the safety of our workers and the public, and having to go through the WARN process would have put lives in jeopardy"
