No severance.
There will be so many heads cut all at once and no severance.
No money. This economic crash will destroy state street.
No severance.

Severance is going to very little, if anything. Don’t bank on getting it, no matter what level you are or how long you were there. The stock market is down 30% from its all time highs. Do some math.
Severance is not happening. Ain’t a damn thing you can do about it.
Yeah, beca when ‘management’ says something it must be true.
I don’t think any of you understand what’s coming.
Keep on believing your soon-to-be ex employer cares enough to give severance to the 50% of the company they are going to be laying off very soon...can’t have those profit margins out of whack...
The entire plan of this controlled ‘crash’ was to destroy your 401k and take your income (jobs)
Is anyone paying attention????
In numerous weekly Covid19 company conference calls mgmt has said, they have strong a balance sheet and plenty of money / liquidity in there coffers. So, hoping if it were to happen they would do the right thing by all of us.
Your boss was laid off just today ?
My boss just got laid off. He was with the company 20 years. It’s starting.
Layoffs are coming. It’s going to be bad.
Hey, @5dwx+1430IHBu, you seem obsessed with the OP that predicted the crash. Perhaps it’s you that has some mental problems. Just saying. You really can’t seem to let it go, perhaps that OP hit a nerve, eh? I for one have been reading all the posts here for two years and took a lot of what I read seriously and I got out of the stock market last October. I’m glad I did. Maybe I’ll get back in when it tanks again, because I do believe it’s going lower, but for right now I’m sitting pretty while everyone else has lost 35%.
OP is scared little baby LOL
Sad little OP is requested comments making fun of his mental fragility be removed. Classic!
Well ,not saying that I heard anything but why would SS do anything better these times when it was treating it's employees badly during the longest stock market run. So if you expect that now the leadership will care more for you then .....good luck!
does anyone have an update?
I am so scared.
Please
Those of you who are still waiting for the Executive team to do the right thing for the workers need to wait the f up.
Ceo's at many other companies have already announced they are giving up all compensation during this difficult time.
It would be such an easy thing for our Great CEO to announce the same thing.
To date—this has not happened.
That is completely awful if that’s true. People have spent their entire careers there. The execs can do without their multi million dollar bonuses to do the right thing for the staff that have created and delivered the value to the clients that made them rich. I truly hope you are inaccurate.
I heard the same thing. Huge layoffs, little (2 weeks) to no severance because no money to cover. Doesn’t matter what level, a SVP will get nothing.
