I’ve got over a million in cash on the sidelines right now, my house is paid off and my wife and I only earn about $230,000 a year at present from good jobs with a solid, diversified multi national company worth over $125 billion. What an id–t!! If Oxy goes down it’s mostly the common workers that suffer the most. Executives at the top that have been making millions for years. And if Oxy gets bought they will get even more millionS. So wishing that to former co-workers is plain mean spirited. And if the oil prices crashes to super low levels, layoffs will hit everything, and the housing market in Houston and Dallas will suffer too.
Gosh are you really going to post that when people are just worried about how they are going to feed their families over the next few months if layoffs do occur? Your are such a mean spirited person who obviously has no sense of ethics or moral conduct. Now is a time to ban together not to I incite conflict. Bud regardless of how much money you have in your bank account now, the economy affects us all, as do pandemic outbreaks. I wish you the best and hopefully you can find a place in your heart to donate any of you supposed wealth to a local food bank or charity as a way to help the thousands of people who have lot their jobs across the country in the last handful of days.
