You just saw the options. Stay or TVUL or VS or VER. Which option do you prefer?

It is very sad looking at what people write here. I heard a lot of questions from BLR, MVD and KRK about volunteering for pay cut off. At this time we were told to wait until legal and hr work out the details. No matter which site you are located, we are one company and s–w anybody who claims that's not true.
In Poland it's perfectly legal to offer a lower salary. An employee can reject the offer, but it results in termination of employment.
@1yta+142px0m6
thats sounds exactly like every other excuse from poland. Only a team player if it benefits them
What would Sanjay do? #TooSoon?
Polish law will be changed in a few days probably and even more than 15% will be at their grasp...
I guess Cracow local management will be (maybe already was) asked to take some actions too...
@1czm+142px0m6 wrote: "All good and well for US staff but why were offshore employees not included? I know that there are different rules and regulations but EVERYONE is in this boat together. Does not seem right. " Simple. Local laws prohibit forcing pay cut. They are being asked to join in sacrifice to reduce how painful other options will be.
Krakow just got their salaries cut 10% by USD/PLN exchange rate.
@1czm+142px0m6 You forgot about salary difference...
All good and well for US staff but why were offshore employees not included? I know that there are different rules and regulations but EVERYONE is in this boat together. Does not seem right.
If you're high on the layoff list then pick 12 weeks of TVUL. Maybe things will be back to normal by July. If you spend the 12 weeks productively then you should move down the layoff list afterwards. Or, if you just relax for 12 weeks and get laid off later then you have the severance and the economy will hopefully be back by then. You certainly don't want to get laid off right now during coroneddon when nobody's hiring anyone except Amazon delivery drivers.
If you have a lot of seniority then pick VS. By the time the severance runs out the economy should be hiring again, and perhaps the folly of relying on offshore labor will increase demand for local labor then too.
If you're close to, or past, 62 then pick VER. You won't get a deal like this one again.
If you love your job and you're essential for KTLO then stay because there's a job for you.
If you aren't essential for KTLO then don't be surprised if you get laid off in a few weeks and that deal won't be as good as these.
It depends on the variance of the sev package as compared to the normal policy for sev's.
I love my teams, but I'm open to it.
Anyone know what the enhanced severance would be?
What do these options mean?
Because they know the ship is sinking!
Rats jump ship first
Why stay and possibly/probably be laid off in the "agressive" organizational alignment? Take the "enhanced severance" if you can, get the hell out!
