Can anyone in this forum who has worked for both Apple and Qualcomm provide comparison about working environment and compensation structure between the two companies?
No troll answer please.

@dqen+142oAbCq, which company do you think is an American company? McDonald, Walmart, or Uber?
How much total compensation hike should I expect if I move from Q to a similar position in Apple?
Let me put it this way, Qualcomm ppl get laid off, and Apple ppl make more
Apple has a very toxic culture. I have worked at all Q A and FANG. In terms of ppl, Q seems to be least toxic..if money is the only driving factor then pick your poison ..if moving to Bay Area is part of the equation, then there is no comparison..Bay Area is a sh–hole and very difficult to move now..10yrs ago different story
Former Q, class of 2007 San Diego. Question: do you feel Apple managers generally deserve to succeed as managers based on your hard work? Do Apple managers offer useful and accurate technical guidance or are they managers solely because they worked on the iPod?
Class of 2018. Moved to work for Apple.
I think it really depends on your group and your manager.
At QCOM, my "manager" was Mr. Path-of-least-resisitance. He was also an extreme micro-manager. Get enough info from you to claim credit for your work. He'd load up the people he could see while ignoring the people at another site. This left some people so buried they barely had time for lunch.
At Apple, I also have a lot to accomplish and I'm very busy, but so is most of my team.
I make more money at Apple and I actually hear "thank you" when I get a big project done. Never heard that at QCOM.
This is like asking should I cut off my left thumb or my right thumb. Both are terrible places to work, the difference being one is much more lucrative in terms of compensation. If you look at the share price 5 years ago QCOM was at $70.04 Today it is at $60.91. Apple was at $125.90 and now is at $229.24. Not sure if Apple does a summer in the lawn series with the company band but I am pretty much thinking they are with out a doubt a much better company.
Agree. Apple is a piece of junk to work for. If you just want to sacrifice your body for good RSU's and money, go to Apple.
Apple = sweat shop. If you want better work-life balance, Q is the best company to work for.
