Oxy has been letting go of more Oxy employees! They need to let go of contractors not us!!
If Chap 11, employees will lose all that vacation that is "banked" via the PTO conversion...

If there ever comes a day we decide to pull Saudi or the Soviet Union out of a hole I say let them sink. The low gas prices are helping during this Pandemic in allowing low fuel cost to help get goods around. But in out little world of the US oil patch we have a direct link to the price war and the participants could care less how many of us lose our jobs and companies fold. They see the pain they are putting on us, and enjoying every minute of us. If your paycheck and ability to provide for your family comes from working in the oil field then please understand the a$$holes that are putting us in the situation. Also, never believe we are totally independent of OPEC and the Soviet Union when it comes to oil prices.

That's what I heard. Worried we'll file for Chapter 11 within a few days. We are way under water here... unsure how long this can go. Ugh. :(
