Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

So glad I no longer work at that sh-- hole

Got a sweet severance package and a new, stable, job after a couple weeks. Can’t say I feel sorry for those still at Devon who will get nothing. Enjoy the ride mofos.

I can honestly say we are all glad you are gone and making comments like that says a lot about you.

OP - why are you here and why are you bitter? If you feel better now, just stay far away from this place

Dr. Phill has a point. You could be bitter and out of Devon. Then again, you could be REALLY bitter and still working here.

You didn’t sell stock at $72/share after 2015 buddy.

Me too! I made 146,000 and got 6 months severance in Feb 2016. Sold my stock around $72/share. I’m watching the stock tank live today. Currently trading for $6.79/share as I type this. F the energy industry. Glad I took advantage of Devons Cornell University free program and reinvented myself. Making lots of dough and completely out of oil, except for my royalty checks. Adapt or die mofos!!!

Yet you're still bitter and not completely happy. If you were truly happy, you wouldn't look back and even bother to post here.
