People were laid off yesterday and even more will be shown the door today and tomorrow. We are looking at a rough week ahead of us, folks...

Many leaders or bosses don’t know and many have been informed weeks ago. There are legal reasons they don’t spill the beans. Get mad all you want but this unfortunately is how companies operate.
Well I would hardly say my boss is transparent. They said IF we get laid off.....as if they don't already know?!
At least your boss is frank with you - lack of transparency combined with waiting and rumors is worse than the truth. Just a thought - if you get the call to come to HR just consider that a company that will not operate any smarter than this cannot possibly restructure smart - so this really is not about us. It’s not you, it’s me story? Truly it is you, Fossil, and it not being personal is no consolation for job loss.
The layoffs will be happening today and tomorrow, going into the earnings call on Thursday.
Boss said they aren’t sure if it will be them first then the rest of team. Or the team first then them.
