If halliburton management ever saw how wft operates they would shriek and run away. Halliburton squeezes every penny from every line while wft middle managers are more focussed on thier bonuses. Its a clash of economics and a whole different set of values

True deez. A lot of services these days are one time deals might as well use the cheapest. Very few big contracts anymore.
Wft and all the big ones have employed too many non-essential personnel instead of field hands and won't be able to compete with smaller companies. Our overhead makes us too high in price for equipment and services that are outdated or similar to smaller adaptive companies.
True sheriff wft used to be blowing and going. Things have changed the industry has changed. It really is a different ballgame. Hard to adapt. You can lose a big service job for $100
As someone already stated it's a rumor that's been flying around for 20+ years. Besides most of the exec's are rejects from Halliburton anyway, kind of like democrats, everything they touch turns to sh–.
Doesn't matter anyway as Wft is just a small moldy potato compared to the business it used to be. To many things in the market, industry, and economy have changed and the big service companies are just something to read about in the history books. All just a total sh– show now.
I agree. As long as it doesnt include any mgt. Its two different worlds
Merger, never. Picking up certain product lines at a discount now that debt is cleared for the most part - very much a potential reality
Yawn. Heard about this ‘merger’ for 20 years in a row.
Managers focused on their bonuses? If that was true, we wouldn’t have managers complaining about having to do the job they need to, in order to receive the bonuses... sit around and not do anything, that seems to work.....
