Are there any additional items in the layoff package or is it the same as everybody else?

No, unless you're referring to being bridged to retirement or something else.
The severance was based on years of service. For the layoffs last year: One week pay for every half-year of service. Minimum one month, maximum six months. 0-2 years service: 4 weeks. 3 years: 5 weeks, 3.5 years: 6 weeks , 4 years : 7 weeks. etc. up to 26 weeks max severance for 13+ years of service. Subsidized COBRA (same group rate as employee) for 6+ months if you have over 5 years service (or something like that). This is no guarantee that HR won't reduce the amounts the next time around.
