Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

The fix for the 737 MAX woes

  • is the Airbus A320neo.

Boeing NMA? You mo–ns should have taken this up a decade ago, instead of pumping the equity for the C-suite. Now it is too late and EVERYBODY KNOWS IT.

Boeing will not survive. You squandered crucial opportunities and now are no longer needed.

And yet, even though Boeing has these problems...Airbus posted a BIGGER loss.

A deep Depression is coming to Puget Sound. Laid-off, unemployable machinists, tweaking meth, roving throughout the countryside, taking anything not defended with force.

Seems like Boeing has given up the ideals of its past, to take huge financial risks, innovate and strive to build the best aircraft in the world.

It has finally succumbed to the obsessions of management with quarterly results, anti-competitive behavior, cost-cutting and iterating on sub-standard products.

But hey! stock payouts should be good though. Worst case they can repurchase them. It is a lot less work than actually trying to build better planes...who does that these days? Oh wait, I forgot about Bombardier.
