Offer for re-hire. What should I expect?

Hi,
I have left the company 3 years ago as a grade 7. This was after the big re-org ( forgot the name) and I wasn't happy about that.
I have now an offer to come back as a grade 9 in Oregon. What salary range should I expect?

How much would a typical RSU grant be at grade 9?

ok so here's the deal, Jules is so Over Cash. she just wants to rearward you with more stonks, which is highly outside of your control (how ya blue badgers enjoying that drop in your stock compensation from $69 to fiddy five? no tendies for you). Jules wants to make Intel compensation more like FAANGM but ... INTC isn't a growth stock so her strategy is a fail and cheating you on your so called rewards. OP, if I were you I wouldn't come back. you've been warned.

If you like the job, this is a nice move!
Intel is not dieing. It is not the ideal company it was 10 or 15 years ago, but it is a very good place to work at.

I've been talking with friends who left Intel in the past years. This is my conclusion.

They sent you an offer with pay grade and no salary?

160K ballpark, 145-200+ range, 40k+ stock, hiring bonus better be near that as well. They have it, if they claim they already giving you top range, reply it doesn't meet expectaions and walk. They will keep groveling back to you especially if they are offering grade 9 when you only left as a 7 only 3 years ago. Nice career move and best of luck.

Congrats. I’m an 8 so can’t help with salary but don’t listen to the bitters. Grade 9 is nothing to sneeze at, and bonuses are exponentially higher at 9 than when you were a 7.

No matter what they offer you, negotiate for a signing bonus and a higher offer, to offset you losing all your time toward sabbatical and such, due to it being 3 years ago that you separated. Good luck.
