Why are people so convinced there will be massive layoffs next week? What did I miss?

There will be confirmed mass layoffs happening February 18/19.
It's the week after the originally scheduled earnings call, and last time there were layoffs they did it on a Monday. Every room in HR is blocked out of that entire week. Plus the Huddle is ALWAYS scheduled the week after the earning call, but they have pushed it to three weeks later this time. Seems suspicious.
likely trimming the fat before the earnings call. gotta appear like fosl is managing their expenses and going the right direction for wall street and investors.
