Response to the comment about drivers “milking the company”. You said you are a manager, that’s the most disturbing part about your comment. If you were any kinda manager, the milking wouldn’t be going on. You sir, are a major part of the problem. Managers in these plants are mostly uneducated and lazy. I know for a fact, that the managers at the Rensselear Plant try to figure out the minute they walk in and start their day, what time can they leave. They make one bad decision after another and lie about everything. Customers don’t get service and go days without getting milk. It starts with the leadership. When there’s no leadership everything suffers. When drivers complain to upper management that local management, manages by falsehoods, they could care less. This company is a mess from the top to the bottom. Get leadership in these plants that can manage by TELlING THE THRUTH things will change for the better.
Not sure what the last comment had to do with dean foods profitability? Deans does not own the milk until they receive it so if a tanker comes in that is not in acceptable condition Deans does not pay for it.
False!!!
I’ve seen with my own eyes working in receiving and cip for 7 years of the wasteful hauls and ineptness of drivers.
Tankers coming in from Kansas 10 hours away. Only to be rejected and turned away for leaky seals or unsanitary gaskets.
100’s of thousands of dollars in losses of raw milk lost from lazy drivers who load the raw milk off farms.
The meeting is about the 700k in 2 months deans waste in good milk thrown away that the loaders overload on trucks
It comes down to the fact that no one’s job is that extremely strenuous, if everyone worked hard and did their best Dean’s wouldn’t be in the position they are in. That goes for everyone up through management, the fact is that people took advantage of things and milked the company, not considering the profitability of the company or lack there of. As a manager, if everyone did their fair share, the company would still be profitable.
Exactly. Drivers are the ones on here whining the most. Yet. They hardly do a damn thing.
Do people really have problems with drivers not loading their own trucks? Go to any manufacturing plant and youll see the drivers never do thats what loaders are for
The hardest working guys are panelboard ops. I just sit there and stare at a screen while sleeping on the job.
Boy....Sounds like bitterness in full effect from a cooler tech.
Who cares. Half of you drivers are just that. A pack MULE. Nothing else and nothing more. You don’t like it. Then go become a SHAGGER driver. At least then you won’t have to get out of the truck to unload freight.
Oh wait.... You don’t even get out of truck as it is. You let cooler rats unload and load for you.
