Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

HR is hopeless

CHRO is totally out of touch or doesn't care. The culture problem that she was to fix has gotten far worse. Maybe if she can get off the high pedestal and spend time with people it might help.

HR exists to protect the company and senior management. They could give a sh– about anyone else.

CT still has a job. That's all you need to know about HR.

I was a very long term employee that retired not too long ago. I have always been very disappointed with HR and over the last 10-15 years it became pretty much worthless and not helpful.

"I'm from HR and I'm here to help" :-)

Any company that keeps

I have spent time speaking to her and thought it was an interesting conversation. She clearly knows there are real problems. We need people that are willing to share stories about their experiences.

She was OR's pick, which is ridiculous when you think about it. They let him pick his person and about 2 months later he was gone. They have no clue what they are doing, and this is just another example. HR Just like every other function in the business has a good people and some id–ts as well. Ultimately what's wrong with teradata is a leadership problem.
