The owners already marked the asset as a loss on their financials..Its not worth anywhere near the debt it has...since thousands have already been laid off.. chopping it in pieces is only way to recoup anything... They are trying to retool bergdorf which thought it would recapture Barneys sales..The new Nordstrom in NYC plus Saks redirect of Barneys website seemed to have made that plan another fumble in a long list for my employer

It may be early to say that..but CEO of Bergdorf stated that their website didnt do the job .. you snooze you lose... people moved on. Maybe you are right..all Bergdorf's site does is pass the orders to Neiman for fufillment... basically..nothing more or less.. with a few over the top bad fashion photos thrown in that nobody could mimic
